Computer Clinic Limited has awarded certificates to young people who have been trained in digital skills. The event took place at the office premises in Area 47 sector 1 on Friday, April 19, 2024.
In his remarks, the Managing Director Sam Masikini encouraged the trainees to advance their education since the world is turning digital. He further urged them to keep practicing since this will provide a foundational knowledge of ICT that they will need wherever they go.
“This is something I wish I had learned before attending university is the fundamental computer knowledge you have gained. I didn’t have the same training that you do now, so I had trouble understanding it. You are fortunate to have this chance. It will open doors for you in every career path you may require to pursue,” said Masikini.
One of the trainees, Jane Mayor hailed the program which she said will help her as she progresses in her education. She further expressed gratitude to the Digital Expert Mtisunge Tebulo for being an excellent trainer who possesses intelligence and knowledge.
The first cohort was providing modules in basic computer literacy and graphic design. The next cohort will commence on May 2, 2024 where modules like Computer programming, data science and Internet of things (IoT) will be introduced.
