Computer Clinic Ltd. has held a second graduation for the trainees in Salima as the digital Malawi project advances.

The celebration, which honoured 173 young people who had received computer training and 77 who had received entrepreneurial training, was held on Friday, September 1, 2023, in the Msalura CCAP Hall.

Speaking during the event, the Salima District Youth Officer, Jessie Mwansambo, who was also the guest of honor, gave a speech during which she praised the project’s partners and emphasized the importance of the project for the area’s youth empowerment.

‘The training has served as the basis for the computer and entrepreneurial skills that you have gained, but this is only the beginning. You must continue to practice and advance so that you will be extremely familiar with the digital world,” advised Mwansambo.

The project, which is being implemented by the Public-Private Partnership Commission with support from the Malawi Government, is funded by the World Bank.

The graphic design trainees displayed the graphic poster they created after mastering these abilities as an example of what they had learned.

Mary Msukwa, a representative from the community development department, was also present and delivered the graduating class a motivational address. She also urged people to start their own businesses in order to improve the standard of living for both their families and the nation.

Currently, another team of digital experts is in Ntchisi, where they are training the youth in that area too. The training runs for four weeks in digital skills and two weeks in entrepreneurship.
